Places to Visit in Mahabaleshwar:

Elephant's Head point
Elephant's Point is visited by travellers seeking a perfect location for a day picnic amidst nature. From here you can catch stunning views of nature. The place got its name due to the rock formations here which look like the trunk of an elephant.?


Chinaman's falls

A visit to Mahabaleshwar remains incomplete without visiting Chinaman's falls, one of the most important falls in Maharashtra. The waterfall received its name due to the Chinese prison located in its proximity. Mahabaleshwar Temple
The Mahabaleshwar Temple, located 6 km from Mahabaleshwar, underlines the Maratha heritage. Both travellers and pilgrims visit this temple which has been dedicated to Lord Shiva. The surroundings of the temple add to the serenity sprinkled here. The temple also holds great historical significance. It houses a 6 feet long Shiva lingam and flaunts a South Indian Hemadanta style of architecture.


Mapro Gardens
Mapro Gardens is a beautiful garden park situated close to Mahabaleshwar. With nature all around, the park has a chocolate factory, a refreshing restaurant, a tiny nursery and a play area for little angels. This is a great place for whole family fun where one can also explore the manufacturing process of jams and syrups. The park also hosts the Mapro Strawberry Festival when visitors get to taste and buy raw strawberries and innovative strawberry-based products.


Arthur's Seat

Another remarkable spot in Mahabaleshwar is the Arthur's Seat which is known with the name of Queen of all points. You can sit here for hours and cherish the unusual sights of nature sprawling all around it.? The location offers views of the dense valleys of Brahma-Arayana as well as those of the Savitri River. Arthur's Seat is a huge table standing on a natural pillar.
